This visa gives you the right to live in Australia in the capacity of a guardian for the international student, who is a minor and holds a valid student visa agent.
Requirements:
- an applicant must be 21 years old or above
- be a parent, relative, person with the custody of the student or have a written nomination by a parent or person with custody
- proof of financial standing such as being able to provide accommodation for oneself and the student
- meet the health, character and insurance requirements
Processing time
- 75% of applications: 6 months
- 90% of applications: 8 months
