- Be under 50 years of age unless you have an exemption from the age criteria
- Be nominated by an Australian employer who is lawfully operating in Australia
- Applied for an employer sponsored visa 187 subclass within 6 months of being nominated
- Have the skills and qualifications needed for the role
- Evidence of proficiency with the English language unless you have an exemption
- Adhere to the health and character requirements
- Satisfied the criteria of the industry you applied to work in
